Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995 in Berkeley California. She is a famous actress that has appeared on Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is a group of actors, and she herself has been working in both fields. Aged nine she made her feature film debut in the role of Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 she had the leading role in the debut film of Cristina Comencini, Zoo (1988), as well as being one of the actors in The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. In 1989 she portrayed Nanni Moretti's child for the film Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido was the film that really launched Asia's professional profession. She was able move from young girl roles to more mature and complicated roles. The movie was well-received during the Cannes International Film Festival. The actress has produced three films with her dad, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome, and Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom of the Opera is her third film that she's co-produced alongside her father, the others being Trauma and The Stendhal SyndromeAsia's intense, intense style of acting was well-loved by Giuseppe Picioni's Condannato A Nozze. In 1993, she co-starred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di Via in which she portrayed Arianna a physically handicapped girl. This was an intricate and difficult part that earned it an award from David di Donatello Award for the most outstanding actress . Patrice Chereau helmed Queen Margot and she also played an important role. In 1995, she acted alongside Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion , which again earned her a David diDonatello and an award called a Grolla d'oro. Asia began directing short films in 1994. The two she directed were Prospettive, 1996, she produced a documentary on her father; and Abel/Asia, 1998, on the famous film director Abel Ferrara. This latter was presented by the Rome Film Festival. Asia began directing her first feature film in 1999. It was Scarlet Diva (2000). The film also featured her as the principal actress, and the author of the script. The film was released in May 2000 both in Italy as well as throughout the rest the world. It received a prestigious prize by the Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou, her first child was born to her in the year 2001. She directed a number of music videos. In 2002 she starred in The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton along with Jean-Marc Barr, and in the action thriller directed of Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia is the writer of a number of short stories which were published in various magazines.
